This article is about the former municipality. For the current Birmingham community, see West End (community). For other uses, see West End (disambiguation).

West End is a former municipality located west of Birmingham which was annexed into the city as part of the Greater Birmingham legislation which took effect in 1910.

In the January 6, 1908 referendum of county voters, residents of West End supported the merger by 98 votes to 52 against. By the time the annexation took effect, Birmingham officials credited the former municipality with bringing 1,000 new residents into the city.
