The W. L. Sessions residence is a 5-bedroom, 3-bath house at 2930 Rhodes Circle. It was built in 1913 for insurance executive William Sessions. The 2-story residence was designed by D. O. Whilldin in 1909 with a budget of $3,000 to include hot-air heating and electric lighting. By the time the project was submitted for permitting in 1913, the cost had climbed to $5,000.
The brick veneered house features limestone trim and a double-height classical portico supported by four elongated wood columns with Ionic capitals. The front door was trimmed with a wood surround and semi-circular wrought-iron balconies were located outside the upper front windows.
The Sessions family resided there until at least the 1940s. According to Richard Dabney, the house was later owned by Dr Lloyd Noland.
In 1982 the house was documented as a contributing structure to the Rhodes Park Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places.
The two-story house is currently vacant and in poor repair. Robert M. Keller is the listed owner.
