Wintzell's Oyster House is a chain of seafood restaurants based in Mobile. The original Wintzell's opened in 1938. The chain is currently owned by Bob and Buffy Donlon, who purchased the original downtown Mobile location and proceeded to open more locations, with 5 additional in Mobile and Baldwin Counties, as well as in Guntersville, Huntsville, Montgomery, and Tuscaloosa, which reloacted in 2014 from Northport, where it had opened in the former Steamers location in 2009. A franchisee also has a location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Plans call for the restaurant to open franchise locations in Greenville and Trussville in 2014.
