2004 North America Cup
The 2004 North America Cup, the second in the series, was held June 21-23, 2004 at the Lakeshore Foundation. Paralympic teams representing the United States, Australia, Canada, Germany, and Great Britain competed in Wheelchair Rugby, Wheelchair Basketball, and Women's Wheelchair Basketball.
The overall championship was awarded to the United States team.
In Rugby, the United States beat Great Britain 41-34 in the final, after defeating Canada in a semi-final 39-35 and going 5-0 overall in tournament play with two wins over Great Britain and Canada and one over Germany.
In Men's wheelchair basketball the United States lost to Australia 65-61 in the semi-final, but beat Great Britain to secure third place. Canada went on to beat Australia 75-64 to claim the championship.
The U.S. Women's basketball team sailed through the tournament, easily defeating the Canadian team in the final.
The tournament's "Most Valuable Player" was Canadian basketball player Pat Anderson.
