Academy of Civic Engagement (ACE) is a 6-week educational program offered by the City of Birmingham through its Office of Social Justice and Racial Equity. It was established in 2019 and is designed to help citizens better understand how city government operates, with a goal of improving public engagement.
The program's director is Josh Coleman.
