Ama Shambulia

Ama "Ifágbàmílà" Shambulia (born March 5, 1962) is a chef, educator and consultant specializing in natural whole foods. Her adopted Yorùbá nickname, "Ifágbàmílà", translates as "Ifá delivered me," in reference to Ifá, a deity associated with wisdom and intellect.

Shambulia has worked as program manager for the WE Community Garden where she developed successful outreach and apprenticeship programs, including the "pay what you can" WE Cafe community restaurant. Based on that experience, she joined the culinary advisory board of the Jones Valley Teaching Farm.

Shambulia offers cooking, coaching and consulting services through her A Beautiful Life Enterprises company.
