Black Rock Bistro is a restaurant located at 313 19th Street West across from the Walker County Courthouse in downtown Jasper. It is owned by Culinard alumni Greg and Lindsey Kilgore, who were both working in New Orleans until evacuating for Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

The venture began as a white-tablecloth Creole-inspired restaurant in a strip shopping center on U. S. Highway 78. The Kilgores overhauled the menu to better serve local demand and found a niche as a popular lunch spot with dinners served on weekends. Since earning the trust of their patrons, they have successfully reintroduced many of their favorite Creole specialties.

In Summer 2012, New York magazine featured the Black Rock Bistro as Alabama's representative in its "Top 50 Food Pilgrimages You Must Make This Summer".
