C. Paul Perry

C. Paul Perry (born August 13, 1945 in Mobile - died May 3, 2008) was a physician specializing in pelvic pain.

Perry grew up in Mobile and graduated from Murphy High School and the University of Alabama. He earned his medical degree from Alabama in 1971 and served in the Air Force before entering into private practice in Birmingham in 1978.

In 1996 Perry co-founded the International Pelvic Pain Society, which he served as President and Chairman of the Board. He authored numerous papers and textbook chapters on the subject of pelvic pain and designed an instrument used in the diagnosis of chronic pelvic pain.

Perry was an elder at Briarwood Presbyterian Church. He died in 2008 and was survived by his wife, Suzanne, three children, and three grandchildren.
