Carroll Blake Construction Co.

The Carroll Blake Construction Co. was founded in 1913 by Carroll Blake, who had previously served as Birmingham manager for the Dallas, Texas-based Fred A. Jones Construction Company.

David Roberts and R. A. Smallman, another Jones veteran, joined him as partners in the firm, which kept offices in room 1617 of the American Trust Building.
