Emmet O'Neal III

Emmet O'Neal III was the CEO and chairman of O'Neal Steel from 1985 to 1994 and co-founder of NovaRX of San Diego, California in 1997.

O'Neal is the son of Emmet O'Neal II and grandson of Kirkman O'Neal. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and earned bachelor's degrees at the University of North Carolina and Vanderbilt University. He joined the family's steel company after graduating from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1975.

O'Neal partnered with researcher Habib Fakhrai to form the NovaRX Corporation in 1997. That company is involved in developing the Lucanix and Glionix immunotherapies to treat cancer.
