First Church of the Nazarene

First Church of the Nazarene is located at 1998 Shades Crest Road in Vestavia Hills at the intersection of Montgomery Highway. The congregation moved to this site in the early 1970s from 923 Graymont Avenue in Bush Hills. Its former building was sold to Sardis Baptist Church. For some years in the early twentieth century the congregation used the name Crossroads Community Church.
