The Helena Fire Department serves the City of Helena by responding to fires and medical and hazardous materials emergencies. The current chief is Pete Valenti.

Stations

Helena Fire Station One

Station One is located at 816 Shelby County Road 52 East, behind the Helena Municipal Building.

Helena Fire Station Two

Station Two is located at 103 Oak View Lane on the corner of Shelby County Road 52.

Helena Fire Station Three

Station Three is located on South Shades Crest Road. It opened in early 2008. The station has two vehicle bays and is manned by a single person 24 hours a day. It serves the Asbury Parc, Laurel Lakes, Long Leaf Lakes, Silver Lakes, and Sterling Lakes subdivisions. The city bought a new fire engine for the station in May, 2008 at a cost of $397,000, which was financed through fees collected as new homes are built in the aforementioned subdivisions.
