O'Taste & See is a soul food restaurant located at in the Crestwood Festival Center. It was opened in February 2022 by Timothy Powell.
The name of the restaurant references Psalms 34:9 ("O taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are those who take refuge in him.") Powell has nicknamed the business "Home of the Heavy Plates," to emphasize the large portions served.
In addition to house-made peach dump cake and banana pudding, the restaurant serves baked goods from Renee's Sweet Sensations, operated by Powell's mother.
