Project Car Yard
From Bhamwiki
Project Car Yard is a $12 million speculative industrial facility being developed by Graham & Company for the 9.23 acre Johnny Spradlin Auto Parts salvage yard site, covering most of three blocks between Messer Airport Highway and 7th Avenue North, and between 29th and 31st Streets in the eastern part of Birmingham's Central City neighborhood.
Graham's plans include a 117,000-square-foot distribution-style warehouse on the western portion of the property, and 15,200-square-foot manufacturing-type facility on the northeast corner of the site, north of Sarris Restaurant.
The project has been approved by the Birmingham Industrial Development Board and supported by a "Growing Alabama" credit from the Alabama Department of Commerce.
