Shipshape is an Austin, Texas-based software developer that markets a smart-device platform for the management and maintenance of smart appliances and residential systems. It is headed by founder and CEO Alexander Linn, a former solution engineer for Salesforce, who started the company in San Francisco, California.

Shipshape was a participant in the inaugural 2020 class of the Techstars Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator and secured investment funding from Alabama Power Company to participate in the utilities "Smart Neighborhoods" program. In October 2021 the company announced that it would open a second headquarters office, sales and support hub, and network operations center on the top floor of the 2222 Arlington building in Birmingham's Redmont Park neighborhood.
