Straight Furrow Productions was a video production company owned by Bill Russell and Paula Gordon. Along with other short-term projects, the studio held the long-running contract to broadcast Birmingham City Council meetings.

In 1985 the company relocated from 320 2nd Avenue North to the Avon Theater building at 2829 7th Avenue South in Lakeview.

On October 4 and October 6 1989 the members of the "Rolling Stones", in Birmingham for their "Steel Wheels" tour, were interviewed at Straight Furrow's Lakeview studios for Nigel Finch's documentary film 25×5: the Continuing Adventures of the Rolling Stones.
