Born 2 Read Children's Bookstore and Tutoring Facility exists to equip children for a life-time of success by building a solid reading foundation.

Focusing on children from birth through age 9, it offers endearing children’s literature, educational products, testing and evaluation, one on one tutoring, and teaching reading classes for parents and grandparents.

After a successful teaching career, Nancy Putman followed her dream and opened Born 2 Read in November 2005. This has allowed her to focus on teaching children to read so that they might be equipped to reach their full potential.

Nancy now leads a team of highly qualified tutors who are making a difference in young people's lives throughout the Birmingham, Alabama area.
