Format of publications list
- User:Father Goose prefers having his works listed in reverse chronological order. So far precedent with other prolific authors has been to follow forward chronology (1, 2, 3, etc), and that is the gist, I believe, of Bhamwiki:Style#Chronologies and the recommendation of Wikipedia:Manual of Style (lists of works). Ghigna's article on Wikipedia currently uses the style he prefers. (link). I'd be interested in hearing some discussion. --Dystopos 18:29, 31 July 2008 (PDT)
- Since you asked for opinions, I have two points I would like to make. #1, BhamWiki frowns upon the subject editing is own work (see Bhamwiki:Conflicts of interest), and #2, we have worked hard to keep pages as uniform as possible, so this page should not be an exception. I would suggest that the user follow all the guidelines and exceptions not be allowed. I would encourage the user to visit other pages for whom he or she is not directly involved, and help us edit those pages as well, following the said guidelines, of course. --Wheresdib 19:45, 31 July 2008 (PDT)
