Karen Dunn Burks (born 1965 in Bessemer) is Deputy Circuit Clerk for Jefferson County's Bessemer Cutoff.
Burks is the daughter of Grover and Priscilla Dunn. She graduated from Miles Law School and served as an assistant in the office of the Jefferson County Tax Assessor.
Burks was elected Deputy Circuit Clerk in the 2012 general election.
