Wellington Manor Apartments is a 321-unit apartment complex in 18 buildings at 1500 Windsor Court off of Shelby County Road 68 in Alabaster.
In 2019 the Alabaster Fire Department responded to a tip and conducted an inspection of each occupied unit. They found sprinkler heads painted over and non-functioning smoke detectors prevalent and posted orders to "vacate the premises" on the doors to each unit. Providence Property Management began immediate repairs with follow-up inspections so that residents could stay in their units.
