The Liberty Overalls Building, later called the Fanaei Building', is a 9,000 square-foot, brick commercial building at 2209 1st Avenue North in downtown Birmingham's Loft District.
The building is two stories above grade on 1st Avenue and three stories facing Morris. It served as an office, factory and warehouse for Liberty Overalls. Later it housed Slater Sales.
In 2007 the building was purchased by Matthew Fanaei and his son, Kavon. They renamed it and opened an event hall. The younger Fanaei used the top floor of the building into a loft, while the bottom floor, facing Morris Avenue, was home to Matthew's Bar & Grill.
The building was later purchased and redeveloped as part of Mercantile on Morris.
