Valley Elementary was an early elementary school in the Shelby County Schools and Pelham City Schools system. It was located in an 80,000 square-foot building at 310 Opportunity Drive, just off Pelham Parkway in Pelham, and fed into Valley Intermediate School. The school had been recognized as a "National Blue Ribbon School" and participated in the Alabama Reading Initiative and the Toyota Family Literacy Program.
Before it was absorbed into Pelham's school system on July 1, 2014, Valley had an enrollment of approximately 800 students in kindergarten through second grade. The staff included 55 teachers led by principal Debbie Scarbrough.
