Daniel Scheinert (born June 7, 1987 in Birmingham) is a screenwriter, film director, and partner with Dan Kwan in "The Daniels" filmmaking team.

Scheinert attended Oak Mountain Elementary School and Oak Mountain Middle School, and graduated from Shades Valley International Baccalaureate School.

Scheinert produced, directed and starred in the 2019 feature The Death of Dick Long which was filmed in the Birmingham area.
