Alabama Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (Alabama CBF) is an organization of Baptist churches formed in 1993 with offices at 3421 Sierra Drive in Hoover.
As a national organization the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship was formed in 1991 by moderate Southern Baptists who did not support the conservative resurgence that had taken control of the Southern Baptist Convention.
In Baptist polity, each congregation is autonomous and thus able to affiliate with multiple local, state, and national associations. Thus most congregations in the Alabama CBF continued to belong to the Birmingham Metro Baptist Association, the Alabama Baptist State Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention. In the 2010s policy changes of the Southern Baptist groups caused some to end this dual affiliation..
As of May 2023, Birmingham-area congregations belonging to the Alabama CBF included:
- Baptist Church of the Covenant
- Brookwood Baptist Church, Mountain Brook
- Crosscreek Baptist Church, Pelham
- Mountain Brook Baptist Church
- Riverchase Baptist Church
- Shades Crest Baptist Church, Hoover
- Southside Baptist Church
- University Baptist Church, Montevallo
- Vestavia Hills Baptist Church
