Larry Langford is the president of the Jefferson County, Alabama Commission. Prior to that he was the mayor of Fairfield.

Langford is best known for raising money and generating public interest and support for Visionland Theme Park (now known as Alabama Adventure), located near Bessemer. The park was built largely by funding from and bond issues backed by a consortium of cities in the western part of the county, as well as the city of Birmingham and the County government. The park declared bankruptucy, but was sold to Southland Entertainment Group, and has rebounded and expanded since.

Before his career in politics, Langford was a reporter for WBRC 6 and later worked in public relations for a Birmingham beer distributor.
