Toula Hagestratou in 1945

Panagiota "Toula" Hagestratou Fulford (born c. 1923) won "Miss Congeniality" at the 1943 "Miss America" pageant, competing as "Miss Birmingham".

Toula was the daughter of Xenophon Hagestratou. She graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in 1946 and served as president of the Mu Alpha choral society and secretary of the College Choir.

She married attorney Clifford Fulford on January 7, 1969. In 1977 she was one of the eight founding members of the Birmingham Opera Guild and has also served on the board of directors of the Birmingham Music Club.
