The Concord Center time capsule was a metal box deposited behind a metal plaque at the cornerstone of the Concord Center at a dedication ceremony on March 1, 2002.
The plaque depicts the former Jefferson County Courthouse which once stood on the site of the office building. It notes that the time capsule was to be opened on March 1, 2022.
The opening actually took place in June of that year. Among the items sealed inside were a preliminary sketch and an architectural rendering from Williams Blackstock Architects.
