Mary Anne Dannaher Blake (born February 5, 1948 - died June 2, 2008) was the wife of former Birmingham City Councilman Jimmy Blake and a registered nurse at Brookwood Medical Center.
Blake was the daughter of John Paul and Marjorie Dannaher. She graduated from nursing school at St Mary's Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee and worked as a nurse while pursuing advanced degrees and raising two daughters. She later married Dr James Blake and worked as a nurse at his Hoover Family Medicine practice.
Blake ran unsuccessfully as an independent candidate for Alabama House District 53 in 2004. She was killed when a vehicle crossed over the median into her lane on U.S. Highway 280 near Overton Road.
