Margaret Wrinkle is an artist and author whose first novel, Wash, was published in 2013.
Wrinkle earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in English at Yale University and her master's in elementary education at UAB. She collaborated with fellow artist Chris Lawson in the award-winning film, "Broken/Ground".
In adddition to writing, Wrinkle has made a personal study of traditional spiritual practices around the world. Wrinkle lives in rural New Mexico and is a part-time instructor at the San Francisco Art Insitute.
