Star Light Ministries was a religious ministry to exotic dancers founded in 2001 by Lia Scholl. The ministry reaches out to dancers to assure them that they are loved by God, to provide a supportive network of healthy friendships and counsel, and to assist them in pursuing healthy lifestyles and attaining secure career goals.
Scholl founded the ministry in Birmingham before moving to Richmond, Virginia. Volunteers remain active in Birmingham as well as in Atlanta and Washington D. C.
Star Light has expanded its ministry to train ministry teams from other organizations with an interest in reaching out to dancers. In 2008 it offered its first "Exotic Dancer M.B.A." program, a one-day seminar on self-care, financial management, sales and art therapy.
