Carbon Hill Elementary-Junior High School is a K-8 school in the Walker County Schools system serving students in the city of Carbon Hill. The school feeds the nearby Carbon Hill High School. Tanya Guin is the current principal.

Carbon Hill's athletic teams are known as the Bulldogs, and the school colors are blue and white.

Carbon Hill Elementary School was leveled by an F3 tornado on November 10, 2002.
