Dr. William Sanford Moughon Jr. (born May 1, 1926, died November 1991) was a private practice physician at St Vincents Hospital for 35 years and had an office located at 1900 4th Avenue South. He was the grandson of William Barker, who laid out the grid for the newly-created City of Birmingham in March 1872. Dr. Moughon's ashes are interred at the St Luke's Episcopal Church Columbarium in Mountain Brook.
