Ken Nichols (also known as Suzuki Man) is the general manager of Birmingham Suzuki in Roebuck. He was recruited from Atlanta and began an intensive television advertising campaign to attract car buyers to the then-struggling dealership. The campaign has become locally famous for Nichols hyperactive persona and wacky, prop-laden situational gags. Within two years Birmingham Suzuki grew to become one of the top ten Suzuki dealers in the United States.
