Flats on 4th is an apartment building being constructed at 300 16th Street South in Birmingham's Parkside district. It was developed by Watts Realty.
As originally proposed, the complex would have had five floors with a separate parking deck. The developers later reduced the size of the project to four floors with enclosed parking on the street level. They also scrapped the planned fitness center and swimming pool, investing in larger room sizes and better sound attenuation between units and also lowering rental prices to target a market not served by most newly-built downtown apartments.
