Barn at Shady Lane

The Barn at Shady Lane is a wedding/event venue owned and managed by Michael and Linda Adler. The venue is located at 298 Sunbelt Parkway in the Ross Bridge area. In 2014, the 330-seat fully air conditioned barn was built along with an outdoor venue on the same property. As soon as the venue was established, patrons began quickly began to make reservations into the next year. The venue’s success is credited to its convenient location (right off of Lakeshore Parkway), its hardworking staff and its scenery. In its first year, The Barn was the site of the filming for an episode of FYI Network’s fashion show “Get Swank’d”. In 2016, The Barn at Shady Lane received Birmingham Magazine’s Best Event Venue award alongside the popular Birmingham location The Club. Linda Adler works as the booking manager for the barn, giving tours nearly everyday to hopeful couples and their family members. Her husband Michael works to maintain the conditions of the barn and gives occasional tours as well.
