Neely Henry Dam is a 57-foot tall dam on the Coosa River near Gadsden, on the Etowah and St Clair County border. It was built in 1966, the second-highest of seven dams on the Coosa built by the Alabama Power Company. It was named for former senior vice-president Neely Henry and creates the 11,200-acre Lake Neely Henry.
