Orville Ifill (born 1951) is a former public information officer for the Jefferson County Commission and a candidate in the special election to fill the seat vacated by former commissioner Larry Langford.

In addition to his duties as public information officer, Ifill lobbied on behalf of the county to the state legislature. Before going to work for the county he ran unsuccessfully for Birmingham City Council in 1981. In 2005 he left the county to serve as a liaison for the Storm Water Management Authority.

As a candidate for the commission seat, Ifill pledged to work toward accountability and openness in county business, to find ways to reduce debt without reducing needed services, and to encourage economic development with a focus on small and existing businesses.
