This is a List of Birmingham homicides in 1913. It includes homicide cases occurring within the city limits during the calendar year. Note that not all homicides are ultimately ruled to be murder in courts of law.
According to Kenneth Barnhart's survey of Jefferson County Board of Health statistics, Birmingham had 133 homicides in 1913, a rate of 89.6 per 100,000 population. Of those, 27 victims were white (30.0 per 100,000) and 106 were Black (181.5 per 100,000).
Listing
- November 24: Fred Ransom was shot to death at the home of Leroy Reeves on 5th Avenue in Monte Sano in an apparent jealous rage.
