The 2015 Shelby County Airport plane crash was a fatal aviation accident that occurred near the Shelby County Airport on August 27, 2015.

The single-engine Cirrus SR22 aircraft was arriving from Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport at approximately 7:00 PM. It crashed in a field south of the airstrip and behind the Central State Bank office during its approach and was immediately consumed by fire.
