The AMA Superbike Championship (formerly the Honda Superbike Classic) is part of the "AMA Chevy Trucks U. S. Superbike Championship". It consists of a two-race event held annually at the Barber Motorsports Park in Leeds since 2003. The races feature modified street motorcycles with up to 1000cc displacement racing over 100 kilometers (28 laps).

The event was moved from April to September for the 2010 race, making it the final event in the annual AMA Pro Road Racing circuit.
