The 2010 AMA Superbike Championship was part of the 2010 "AMA Chevy Trucks U. S. Superbike Championship" series hosted by the Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham. The race featured modified street motorcycles with up to 1000cc displacement racing over 100 kilometers (28 laps). The championship event, won by Blake Young on a Suzuki GSX-R1000, was the culmination of the Superbike season. An awards banquet followed.

In previous years, the Barber track hosted the AMA's Honda Superbike Classic. In 2011 the track resumed hosting a Spring event.
