Airport Highway Park is a 35-acre industrial complex located north of Messer Airport Highway along 35th and 37th Streets North. The complex consists of six warehouse buildings encompassing 312,400-square-foot, which are currently leased by 12 tenants, including the U.S. Postal Service and Loomis Fargo & Co.
The complex was built between 1970 and 1981 by U.S. Steel. Each building has 20- to 22-foot ceilings, large truck courts, and ample parking. The complex is serviced by a spur of the Norfolk Southern railroad and is just two miles from Birmingham International Airport. [1]
In January 2007, the complex was sold for $9.2 million by Grand Birmingham Associates LP to Mill Management Inc. of Connecticut. Birmingham-based Graham & Co., which managed and leased the property for Grand, will continue to do so for Mill.
