Alabama House District 34

Alabama State House of Representatives, District 34 includes most of Blount County and parts of north Jefferson County.

District 34 is represented by David Standridge, who won a 2012 special election to fill the seat left vacant when Elwyn Thomas. Thomas was appointed to direct the Alabama Manufactured Housing Commission by Governor Robert Bentley.

Previous legislators representing District 34 include John Amari, who served between 1978 and 1982.
