Alabama State Senate District 19 covers parts of west-central Jefferson County.

District 19 was most recently represented by E. B. McClain, who was elected to the seat in 1994 and vacated it on January 21, 2009 after being convicted on federal charges of conspiracy, mail fraud money laundering and bribery.
