Allen Murphy (born July 15, 1952 in Birmingham) was an NBA player.

Murphy attended Parker High School and the University of Louisville. He was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the 2nd round (17th pick) of the 1975 NBA draft. He played for the 1975-76 Kentucky Colonels of the ABA, and the 1976-77 L. A. Lakers.
