Benjamin Allen Treadaway {born September 25, 1961) is a Birmingham Police Sergeant and the District 51 State Representative.
Treadaway was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in November 2006. Treadaway won the Democratic primary in a runoff against Vicki Self Bailey and was unopposed in the November general elections.
Treadaway is a past president of the Birmingham Fraternal Order of Police. In 1992 he was recognized as the Officer of the Year by the City of Birmingham. For the 2004-2005 year he was the Most Outstanding Member of the Year by the Alabama State Fraternal Order of Police.
Representative Treadway is a past director of Toys for Tots and a current board member of the Birmingham Retirement and Relief System.
Treadaway, his wife Susan and their five children live in Morris.
