Angelo Toad was a rock band active in Birmingham in the 1970s. The group was a house band for the Hollywood Underground nightclub in the basement of the former Hollywood Country Club. Angelo Toad was noted for its ability to cover Aerosmith songs.

The band went through several line-up changes. Vocalists Guitarist David Cooley and keyboard player Spuddy Cottingham were mainstays. Tom Devoir and Trace Harrill sang lead vocals at different times. Both Joe Breckinridge and Randy Carmichael played bass with the group. Percussion duties were handled by a succession of drummers, including Alan Byres, Ed Massey, Tom Swindell and Brian Owings.

Angelo Toad opened for Cheap Trick at Al's Crossroads on August 15, 1978.
