Anne Kidd is an art collector and socialite, a former antique dealer and the widow of James Kidd Jr.

Anne was an aviator and amateur golfer at the University of Alabama when she met James, marrying him during his wartime service as an Army Air Corps trainer in Texas. The couple returned to Birmingham where he joined his father's Sunnyside Refining Company and she became an active collector of art and antiques.

Kidd founded the Beaux Arts Krewe in support of the Birmingham Museum of Art in 1967 and opened The King's House Antiques in Mountain Brook Village in 1972.
