Anne Ruisi (born c. 1959 in Mobile) is a neighborhoods reporter and Sunday metro section editor for The Birmingham News.

Born in Mobile, Ruisi grew up in Rochester, New York, graduating from Bishop Kearney High School in 1977. She earned bachelor's degrees in mass communication and English from St Bonaventure University in New York in 1981 and began working as a courts stringer for United Press International in Rochester. From there she took a job covering municipal government for the Canandaigua, New York Daily Messenger until 1985, then covered urban neighborhoods for the Rochester City Newspaper for a little over a year.

Ruisi began working as a News reporter in September 1986 and was made Sunday Metro editor in 2006.
