Anne Ruisi (born in Mobile) is a neighborhoods reporter and Sunday metro section editor for The Birmingham News.

Born in Mobile, Ruisi grew up in Rochester, New York. She earned bachelor's degrees in mass communication and English from St Bonaventure University in New York and began working as a courts stringer for United Press International in Rochester. From there she took a job covering municipal government for the Canandaigua, New York Daily Messenger, then covered urban neighborhoods for the Rochester City Newspaper.

Ruisi began working as a News reporter in 1986 and was made Sunday Metro editor in 2006.
